Personal Note

Courtney Baldwin is an associate attorney whose practice primarily focuses on family law. Courtney gravitated towards family law during law school and worked as a volunteer attorney / guardian ad litem who advocated for juveniles in contentious custody cases in North Carolina. After moving to Colorado, Courtney worked as a family law attorney at two smaller law firms in the Denver area prior to joining the team at Heckenbach Malara.

Courtney is a strong advocate for her clients and is passionate about helping people through what is often a stressful and overwhelming time in their lives. She realizes that every person is unique, and she makes sure to consider what is most important to each individual client in informing her legal approach. Courtney strives to come up with creative solutions and settlements to allow her clients to avoid litigation when possible. Courtney is also prepared to take cases to trial in order to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Courtney and her husband are both originally from St. Louis but have enjoyed living in Colorado for the past several years. In her free time, Courtney enjoys cheering on her favorite sports teams, traveling, and hiking with her husky.
